Why Social Justice Isn’t Biblical-Page 1

The relevance of the gospel as well as the importance of the commandments guide believers to the knowledge and understanding of God’s character.   The grandness of what this means to our society should not only be considered in light of the events that have most recently taken the world by surprise but truly recognize their place of value within it.   The fact that they remain overlooked by society at large and neglected by the church is alarming considering that the word of God says we are to teach them (the commandments as well as the great and wonderful deeds God carried out to deliver us and bring His people forth out of Egypt; remembering also that Egypt is often synonymous with the world when speaking in terms of bringing forth and delivering.)  to our children in order to ensure that they continue to guide future generations into the understanding of God in order that we should continue to live under the protection and guidance of a loving and omnipotent God.  The knowledge held within the Bible is strangely misinterpreted and undermined but for a few who remain obedient behind the pulpit.  This must not be disregarded as a mear coincidence, we know that in both reading and understanding the bible that these things will have come to pass prior to the great day of the Lord.  As previously mentioned in the article regarding prophecy, we must take an important look at the things that have come to fulfillment and focus on what the gospel teaches us about seeking God early and striving for true repentance in that it ensures the development of a stronger faith through a relationship with God as well as bringing others to Him rather than becoming engulfed in the fanaticism and secular definition of prophecy as understood by the world, that of fortune-telling vs. what God repeatedly mentions will be the signs that shall be given to us. The reason this is mentioned here is to make a notable and distinguishing marker between the two, simply to point out what  Romans 3  and 2 Timothy says about this..

Romans 3:3-17

3knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and [b]perdition of ungodly men.

8But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward [c]us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

The Day of the Lord

10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be [d]burned up. 11Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Be Steadfast

14Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; 15and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

17You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; 18but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

2 Timothy 3:1 Context

1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

For we know that there is power in the great name of our king and living God, the name of Yeshua. That it is  God who goes before us and makes even our enemies our footstools? Have we forgotten what God, El Shaddai has done for us? That what we face today is a spiritual battle to the core?  That all things manifesting in the natural link themselves to the supernatural?  God’s words were not spoken in vain or that we should only know that there is a God, but that we should believe in Him.   We serve a powerful, living, righteous, and just God. That  there is purpose in the lessons and hidden knowledge in the Holy word of God,  its intricate words lead us to the overcoming of the world and of satan through Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit. The entire Bible from beginning pages to its last is a guide, a blueprint into the understanding of spiritual warfare.  It gives us the structure of the divine order and its functionality.

An order and stability that the world charges after with its great rage to destroy because unlike many of us who are asleep in the deception that is the world , knows the power it holds.

It explains the authority given unto the headship through faith in and obedience to God to destroy the enemy, to protect, and to restore. The blessings of obedience and the lessons learned from disobedience that allow us to realize the motives and designs our adversary has against us.  It clearly points out what it is that has brought us to where we are today. [The unbelieving world has been blinded and is lost, but none are outside of God’s reach. Their rejection of God is nested in the pain and suffering of sin and death, but because they cannot hear His voice they feel empty, their desperation burning inside them like a flame of which they feel there is no escape. These are lies from the devil, don’t listen.  God does not delight that they should perish.  Know that you have been ransomed and that in Christ you are made a new creation.

We are witnessing now as the spirit of fear and death, the kind that paralyzes, is being placed upon people around the world. Our societies have become divided through social discord and rioting and a never-ending cloud of uncertainty, fear, and preoccupation with anxiety.   If we have learned anything from the sights and sounds of the riots is that there is little to no regard for human life. But upon closer inspection, we should come to realize that this is not a new concept and that in fact, we have been steadily moving towards this point since the crucifixion in a  culmination of the biblical and the prophetic which the next world order will have constructed very much to our detriment.  We see it today in the shadows of what lies before us.

The world has certainly been experiencing an astonishing and rapid decline. There no longer “seems” to be an invisible grip tying itself around civilization, instead, there is a growing presence of despotism in which the “new normal” has gained great ground and momentum among the intelligentsia and elite, but where does that leave the rest of us.? And what does this mean?

The expressed clues are beginning to emerge with the use of language such as   “The battle for the soul of this nation”, that really resounds when coming out of the mouths of those most responsible for the division.

In Ephesians 6:12 we are reminded that we don’t engage in a physical battle over souls, but a spiritual one, and as things move forward, as they have been for quite some time now we will continue to see that those who serve at the altar of the world are NOT on our side, neither will they have any sympathy for anyone who doesn’t share their point of view or position in the social stratum.

If there is one thing that the current circumstances have shown is that the world of social justice is that it does not actually include people of color, believers in God, and children. Rather they seem to hate a society that embraces healthy families, marriage, successful communities, and God. But what are we to do?
